Through a contract with Petrobras, Oceânica sent in January this year, for the FPSO-CRJ, his first team to operate in shallow diving operation aiming visual inspections on flexible lines and maintenance in a foreign submarine platform.

This ship is anchored in the field of Espadarte and is responsible for producing approximately 34,700 barrels per Day. The platform is managed by the Japanese company MODEC, which is a world leader in exploration through the floating production system.

Initially Oceânica proceeded with a technical visit to check the available area to mobilize the diving equipment and facilities for the provision of electricity and compressed air. It was made several meetings to define the scope of service and ensure that with proper planning the conclusion would be satisfactory

The team was constantly praised for the conduct, behavior and quality of services in all facilities of the platform. During conversation with the employees of the Oceânica, the OIM (Offshore Installation Manager) the ship's captain, who is of Indian origin, said is always good to have the dive team on board and expressed their intention to have Oceânica as responsible for the inspection of class ship, making a formal request to Petrobras management professionals. For the off-shore technical of planning , João Henrique , is a privilege to belong to the first team from Oceânica on board of a foreign platform. "We know that there are several challenges, however, they are not unbeatable," he added.

Another noteworthy point was that the Oceânica´s staff had on board professionals who was fluent in English. This qualification was essential to facilitate communication with managers and residents of that platform.

According to João Henrique, himself and another technical of planning Eric Rocha, the supervisors Nicola Scatigno and Mauricio Ferreira Neto felt very useful, valued and professionally satisfied, because they have been communicating in English with the coordinators of the ship.

As Also part of the team the Electrotechnical Marcos Rodrigues, the divers Renato Marques, Julio Marcos, Carlos Nolasco, Felipe and Guilherme Reis Mulin, besides the supervisor Carlos Reis.
