Launch of cables for PETROBRAS and GDK In 05/26/2008, Oceânica executed two contracts of work. One with customer GDK and another one with PETROBRAS. The two are referring to launching of electric cables and are related with the construction of the Flexible Natural Liquid Gas Terminal, in the Bay of Guanabara - Rio De Janeiro. It follows some details of the contracts: GDK 02 submarine electro-optic will be installed, establishing connection between D’água Island and Redonda Island to the Flexible natural Liquid Gas Terminal. PETROBRAS It will be linked submarine electric cables in an extension of approximately 8,08 miles, divided in two stretches: • 4,35 miles for the streche named as LDA ABUTIRUM (Normal System), from Governador Island to Paquetá Island; and• 3,73 miles for the streche named as LDA ÉRICO (Reserve System), from Boqueirão Island to Paquetá Island.
