Oceânica, since its founding has as its main principle to invest in reducing Social imbalances . Seeking to engage in activities that promote community development where it is inserted.

Since Three years ago we have a partnership with the Avellino Institute , a nonprofit institution that works in the community of Guaratiba, near from company headquarters.

The work began with the donation of food , but over time Oceânica realized the need for more investments to help with the projects of the institution: to educate to renew and under a new perspective , serving together to 90 children aged one to fourteen.

In addition to classes taught by a health professional , education and culture, Avelino Institute provides the opportunity to join the playful learning assisted in arousing interest in the kids the interest about the school support activities.

With the growth of activities, the space became too small for the projects needs. Following this trajectory, the Oceanica’s board of Directors decided to invest in a major reform of the institution, expanding facilities and creating environments they evaluate as necessary to increase the quality of care of children of the community.

According to Selma Avelar, legal representative of the Avelino´s Office , since the beggining of the the works the institution has enjoyed a pleasant, safe and wide and may each day increase the number of beneficiaries.

The Avelino Institute is also one of the beneficiaries in the campaigns conducted by Oceânica and its employees.
