It’s all started when the technical adviser in the flexible pipelines invited us for together, try to coupling the Bend-Stifenner of one of the risers of P-54, specifically, the export pipeline.
For a long time, our client was trying to reposition the Bend-Stifenner, however, without success.
After taking science of operation through various meetings for the analysis of videos, discussions with Petrobras about operations, development of operational procedures and safety, purchases of equipment, mobilizing teams and so on. We checked its complexity.
The work started by following certain procedures to aim , firstly, the safety of operations. Had been 4 months of hard work, until finally achieved what for many would be impossible.
This fact shows that the Oceânica is prepared to face all the challenges that will come.
Congratulations to the Personnel and Equipment logistic sectors, Planning, Purchasing, SEQUIP and those who directly or indirectly contributed to the success of the operation.
My special thanks to two teams of diving, represented by Supervisors John Alencar and Luis Lopes Salatiel Miranda, who had direct and fundamental participation in the operation.
